- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a competitive Cost Plus Fixed Fee order for shipboard alterations for removal and installation services of NAVAIR Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Moriah Wind Systems (MWS) and Integrated Launch & Recovery Television Surveillance (ILARTS) System aboard LHD 3, LHD 4, LPD 19, CVN 70, and CVN 77. The procurement will be competed amongst small business Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) holders (N68335-19-G-0003, N68335-19-G-0004, N68335-19-G-0005, N68335-19-G-0006, N68335-19-G-0007, N68335-19-G-0008, N68335-19-G-0009, N68335-19-G-0010, N68335-19-G-0011 and N68335-19-G-0012). The BOAs were issued under solicitation N68335-18-R-0024 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. The requirement will be for material and services including work in the following areas: Quality Assurance (QA), System Removal, Packaging and Shipping, Debris/Hazardous Material Disposition, Structural Work, Welding, Non-destructive testing, Electrical/Electronics, Piping/Plumbing, Fire Watch, Painting, and Pre-Installation Checkout. Period of Performance for the contract will be through 15 June 2021. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 336611. Only current small business AIT BOA holders will be able to compete for this requirement. All responsible sources who have not currently submitted for an AIT BOA or who do not currently hold a AIT BOA are encouraged to submit a technical capability proposal for consideration in response to the next Solicitation; which will be posted to the FedBizOpps website in the near future, if they would like to compete for future ship installation requirements.
