- The Indian Health Service Nashville Area Office intends to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements to provide water service lines and/or individual wastewater treatment systems at various locations throughout the Shinnecock Nation Territory including various locations in Suffolk and Nassau Counties in New York. The Indian Health Service intends to set-aside this requirement for 100% small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition will be - 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is $36.5 Million. Typical water service lines will include small diameter water service lines, connection to the home, and all plant, labor, equipment and materials. These service lines will terminate at the property line for future connection to the local water authority's distribution system (by others). Typical individual wastewater systems will require a septic tank (concrete) and in most cases either a standard drainfield system, mound system with pump chamber, or advanced treatment system, and all plant, labor, tools, equipment and materials. The contractor will furnish all materials and perform all operations necessary for the installation of the water service connection and/or wastewater treatment system including but not limited to the piping, septic tanks, pump chambers, leachfield components, and related appurtenances. Work may include the clearing of brush, trees, and other materials required for the individual wastewater treatment system in accordance with IHS technical provisions and applicable drawings. All work shall conform to federal, state and local codes. Interested contractors should provide 1. Past Preformance in constructing individual wastewater disposal systems the Nassau/Suffolk County, NY area. Relevant Past performance history from Federal, State, Local, and private contracts for the last 3 years. Offers should Include Points of Contact and information on problems encountered on the identified contracts and the offeror's corrective actions. This proof of experience can be waived if the contractor is certified through the Long Island Liquid Waste Association (LILWA). Certification should be complete both for the service provider and at least one service technician. This can be documented through the LILWA Directory (www.lilwa.org) or written documentation if the LILWA website is not up-to-date. 2.
