Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AS-13 DeMarc SONET RING Services and Maintenance THE REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. This is a Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research to determine the market price for the below listed. This RFI is for market pricing only. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide connectivity and maintenance for the DEMARC, T1/DS3, and OC48 SONET Ring fiber optic network, including the Metropolitan Area Network (MAN). The Contractor shall provide connectivity services, as well as, support and repair both the actual fiber infrastructure and all associated equipment required for connectivity. The Contractor shall be responsible for the configuration and installation of any replacement equipment performed under maintenance. TRAVEL: The Government anticipates no travel under this effort to perform the tasks associated with the requirement. Inspection/Acceptance: Destination Period of Performance: February 1, 2019 through January 31, 2020 Description of Supplies/Services QTY Unit Unit Price Total Price PROJECT MANAGEMENT Description: The Contractor shall deliver a Contractor Project Management Plan (CPMP) and associated Monthly Progress Report that lays out the Contractor s approach, timeline, and tools to be used in execution of the contract in accordance with (IAW) paragraph 5.1 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). 12 MO NSP NSP Deliverable: Contractor Project Management Plan Due Dates: March 1, 2019 12 EA NSP NSP Deliverable: Monthly Reports Due Dates: At the end of each month throughout the performance period 12 EA NSP NSP Description of Supplies/Services QTY Unit Unit Price Total Price RECURRING T1/DS3 SONET RING CONNECTIVITY SERVICES Description: In accordance with FAR 52.217-9 the Government may require continued services described in CLIN 0001. The Contractor shall provide service connectivity for the DEMARC, T1/DS3, OC-48 SONET bidirectional optical ring, and local serving wire-center with broadband connectivity IAW paragraph 5.2 of the PWS. 12 MO $ $ Deliverable: Monthly Reports Due Dates: At the end of each month throughout the performance period 12 EA NSP NSP RECURRING T1/DS3 SONET RING MAINTENANCE SERVICES Description: In accordance with FAR 52.217-9, the Government may require continued services described in CLIN 0002. The Contractor shall provide recurring maintenance services for DEMARC, T1/DS3, OC- 48 SONET bi-directional optical ring, and local serving wire-center with broadband connectivity IAW PWS Section 5.3 IFCAP: 116S95345 Inspection/Acceptance: Destination Period of Performance: February 1, 2019 through January 31, 2020 12 MO $ $ Deliverable: Preventive Maintenance Schedule Delivery: 30 Days after award 1 EA NSP NSP Deliverable: Monthly Maintenance Log Delivery: At the end of each month throughout the performance 12 EA NSP NSP Deliverable: POC List Delivery: 30 days after award 1 EA NSP NSP Deliverable: Detailed Support Documentation Delivery: 10 days after any activity that causes a change to the documentation. 1 LOT NSP NSP Deliverable: Installation/implementation Plan Delivery: 30 days after award 1 EA NSP NSP PASS THROUGH CHARGES Description: The Contractor shall provide charges directly associated with applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges required by statute and law for services IAW PWS Section 5.4.
