Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1(b)(2) "the existence of limited rights in data, patent rights, copyrights, or secret processes...make the supplies available from only one source". The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Advanced Mechanical Technology, Inc. (AMTI) for three FS6-100 load cells, one Gen5 amplifier and cables. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (31-JAN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
