Description
The National Science Foundation (NSF) hereby issues this synopsis for Arctic Research Support and Logistics Services (ARSLS). The scope of work (SOW) for this requirement provides logistics, operations and other support for Arctic research projects and facilities sponsored by NSF or other agencies, as directed by NSF. Generally, the place of contract performance is the Arctic region including Alaska, Greenland, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Russia, the Arctic Ocean and adjacent seas from the sea floor geology to the sea ice, the lower and upper atmosphere, near space and deep space. The NSF expects to post a Request for Proposals (RFP) for this requirement on or about February 16, 2019. See the RFP for detailed requirements. The current Contractor providing the ARSLS services is CH2M Facility Support Services, LLC. under contract NSFDACS11C1675, which has a period of performance through May 31, 2020. The NSF intends to award a cost plus fixed fee contract for these services in September 2019. The RFP is unrestricted and all responsible sources, as specified in the RFP, may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the NSF. The RFP and any amendments, questions and answers, or clarifications regarding the solicitation will be posted solely to the Government Point of Entry at www.fbo.gov. Interested parties are encouraged to check www.fbo.gov frequently for possible updates. While any and all questions must be directed in writing via email to the primary Government point of contact identified in this synopsis, answers to RFP questions, as well as any and all clarifications, extensions or changes will be posted to www.fbo.gov and may only be available at www.fbo.gov prior to closing date and time of the RFP. This procurement will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. Interested parties may learn more about the FAR at http://acquisition.gov/Far/. Due to a change in the solicitation number, other Presolicitation information remains available on fbo.gov under the previous notice NSFDACS18R0001. See link below. Note, all proposals submitted in response to solicitation 49100419R1001 must be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective solicitation expected to be posted on or about February 16, 2019.
