Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District (NWK) seeks to provide information to interested firms on the Kansas City (KC) Levees Program, and solicit feedback regarding NWK's acquisition planning for KC Levees construction contracting. NWK is hosting an Industry Day Webinar on February 12, 2019 at 2 pm (Central), and will announce all anticipated contract opportunities for the following levee units: Argentine Levee Unit, Armourdale Levee Unit, and the Central Industrial Levee Unit. The three units are located along the Kansas River in Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. The first contract opportunity will be for a Design-Build effort for two pump station replacements and one pump station modification on the Argentine Levee Unit. Future opportunities include additional pump station replacements, pump station repairs, future levee raises, under-seepage improvements, and modifications to closure structures. NWK seeks to share the KC Levees Program, upcoming schedule, and contract approach to all actions. The webinar will cover Equal Employment Opportunity Goals and Small Business Opportunities. The following are the anticipated contracts scheduled to be awarded within the next 6 to 18 months. Three unrestricted Design-Build (D-B) Construction Contracts. •Two pump station replacement contracts in the magnitude range $25 to $100M (scheduled award 4QTR FY19 award and 1QTR FY20 award) •One levee/Floodwall Raise in the magnitude of $100 - $250 Million (scheduled award 3QTR FY20) NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-FEB-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
