There is not a solicitation available at this time. The purpose of this SS is to conduct Market Research to determine an acquisition strategy for a one-time firm fixed-priced purchase order to purchase instruments for the operating room for Ophthalmology/cataract/ocular Plastic cases. The Ophthalmology Clinic located at the Cincinnati VAMC hospital need to procure instruments used in the operating room for Ophthalmology/Cataract/Ocular will be compatible with the existing instruments used in the operating room. Compatible instruments used in the operating room for Ophthalmology/Cataract/Ocular Plastic case includes the following instruments: E3861 NH Castroviejo Delicate w/lock Qty (12) E4538 Retractor Lachrymal Sac Knapp Qty (12) E2002R Utrata Capsulorhexis forceps Qty (12) E0545 Sinskey Iris and I.O.L Hook Qty (12) E0606 Nucleus Manipulator Osher Qty (12) ET05571 Manipulator Lens Lester Qty (12) E1564 Osher.12mm FCP Elschnig Teeth Qty (06) E9018 Fine Thornton Fixation Ring Qty (06) E0629 Drysdale Nucleus Manipulator Qty (06) The instruments referenced items have been identified as a possible solution that may satisfy this requirement: However, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is conducting market research to determine if there are other solutions equal to the reference, responsible sources available to satisfy this requirement, identify the business size of available sources, and to determine if there are a sufficient number of Small Business concerns capable of performing the requirement to warrant a set-aside. The proposed solicitation is to furnish all materials, labor, equipment and transportation required to provide supplies to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Cleveland VA Medical Center. Contractor shall also comply with any other federal, state, and local laws applicable to the industry. Potential sources must demonstrate experience and knowledge of required services and capability to provide such services. Potential sources should submit: business name and address; point of contact; business size, and any applicable business socio-economic category; capability statement; provide information for recent and relevant projects similar in nature; DUNS number; contract number if applicable; and brochure of equipment.
