- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Lebanon VA Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DUNBAR ARMORED, INC., 50 SCHILLING RD, HUNT VALLEY, MD 21031-1105 to provide vehicle armored truck services in accordance with FAR 13.106-1. Market research and response to a public sources-sought notice have indicated that Dunbar Armored, Inc. is the only vendor local to Lebanon VA Medical Center with the interest and capability to deliver the required services. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than 2/8/2019 at 1 PM EST. ALL Responses shall be sent to Contract Specialist Thomas Cossentino at thomas.cossentino@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561613. Independence Mall West, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106 Services Required: Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) requires a bonded armored truck service for pickup and delivery of cash, deposits, etc. between the Lebanon VAMC Agent Cashier s cage, Canteen Services, and a financial institution located in Lebanon, PA, 17042. Armored truck service for the Lebanon VAMC Agent Cashier is required five (5) times per week, and service for the Lebanon Canteen Services is required three (3) times per week. Armored truck service for LVAMC and Lebanon Canteen Services can be done concurrently within a single visit. LVAMC requires additional unscheduled pickup/delivery times, when excess occurs.
