Description
The 47th Contracting Flight, Laughlin AFB TX, is seeking responsible sources to establish a cost per consumable test (procedure) agreement in which the Government will purchase a set quantity of Influenza A/B reagent kits, and Strep A reagent kits with the agreement that the awarding company will at a minimum, provide one Molecular Analyzer along with any components (peripherals) or accessories, shipping, installation, and training (minimum of 4 individuals if provided on-site) at no cost to the Government. The technical characterictics of this requirement are as follows: 1. Molecular Analyzer shall perform molecular and CLIA waived testing for both Influenza A/B and Strep A. 2. Molecular Analyzer shall be a closed system to eliminate the possibility of contamination. 3. Molecular testing of the analyzer shall be Federal Drug Administration (FDA) approved as confirmatory. 4. Molecular testing for confirmatory results of Influenza A/B and Strep A shall yield results in 20 minutes or less. 5. Molecular Analyzer shall provide the printed results of both Influenza A/B and Strep A testing. 6. Molecular Analyzer shall be fully operational without network connectivity. 7. Molecular Analyzer shall weigh no more than 300lbs. 8. Molecular Analyzer shall not exceed 24 inches in length, width, or height. 9. Required molecular analyzer software updates shall be accomplished by a standalone computer, or other technological device (i.e. USB) that will connect directly to the analyzer. (Standalone computer signifies that the computer will not be connected to the AF network). The issuance of this sources sought is being done strictly for the purpose of market research and does not obligate the government to award a contract or any other type of contractual document.
