Description

This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by the Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 and is seeking sources that are capable of providing all parts, materials, labor, supervision, test equipment, technical manuals and transportation necessary to perform preventive maintenance (1 major PM and 3 minor PM s/year) and unlimited emergency system repairs on the Government owned equipment listed below. The Contractor shall use only official OEM parts for both repairs and preventative maintenance. VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System Getinge Cart Washer Model 9128 (will be updated this Fiscal Year) EE# 49109; SN: USR0840001 Getinge 833HC Steam Sterilizers EE# 58753; SN: URA011627 EE# MX1251696; SN: URA011640 EE# 71252; SN: URA055621 VA Toledo Community Based Outpatient Care Getinge Ultrasonic Cleaner Model 2460 EE# 61200; SN: KSG12036 The period of performance is April 15, 2019 through April 14, 2020 with two (2) one (1) year pre-priced option periods. The Contractor shall use the latest software revision for their OEM equipment diagnostic technology, CS-1000, which shall remain updated within 4 weeks of the most recent software release by the OEM for the life of the contract. Additionally, all pressure gauges/meters, volt meters, and torque wrenches will have a calibration certification performed within the last 12 months and for every year of the life of the contract thereafter from a vendor whose calibration process can be traced all the way to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at the time of bid and will be presented at time of bid. Failure to remedy system errors within 4 8 hours will cause delays in sterile processing and affect patient care, as such the latest diagnostic technologies and certifications for diagnostic equipment will ensure efficient troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) to minimize downtime for the Sterilization Process department at VA Ann Arbor, which is a highly critical and visible area of the hospital. All calibration certificates must be valid within one year of the start date of the contract and must be presented at time of bidding. Additionally, the Contractor will be ISO 9001:2008 certified to demonstrate they have the quality control process to maintain an accurate and correct record history of each piece of equipment worked on, including the exact part, model, and manufacturer for every replacement part and preventative maintenance part used and services performed.
