Description

This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL), the Evaluation and Testing Branch (ETB). The ETB has a requirement for maintenance, service, parts, and labor of 6 TSI 8130 and 2 TSI 8130A automated filter testers, including 3 on-site visits to the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Morgantown, West Virginia CDC locations. The period of performance is September 30, 2019 through September 29, 2020. The intended recipient of this purchase order is: TSI, Inc. located at 500 Cardigan Road, Shoreview, Minnesota. This order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations / responses received within 7 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should be emailed to Abbie Jemmott, Contracting Officer at ajemmott@cdc.gov no later than 11:00 AM EST February 13, 2019. No telephonic quotes will be accepted.
