Description

1. The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA), Office of Procurement, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Smiths Detection, Inc., 2202 Lakeside Boulevard, Edgewood, MD 21040, for Smiths Detection Hardware Maintenance Renewal. This is a proprietary hardware application that is currently being utilized for X-ray Security Machines operated at CSOSA. This sole source requirement meets the condition on FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i) and FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the service that will satisfy the CSOSA on going requirements. Smiths Detection is the only company that can meet CSOSA's requirement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-FEB-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
