The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to this market survey. Introduction/Description: The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. This is not a screening information request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred associated in preparation or in response to this market survey. This Market Survey together with the referenced specifications, standards, and drawings, cover the requirements for the work associated with (but not limited to): The repair of the damaged direct buried cable feeding the existing VASI Shelter Building where it provides power to 4L PAPI and REIL. The existing direct buried cable is approximately 500 feet in length from the existing HECO power pole to the existing utility rack near the VASI Shelter Building. The following work activities will include: 1. Provide and install new underground duct bank system using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) 2. Install 2 new pull boxes as specified. It is highly recommended that the Contractor survey the project site prior to work and identify all utilities throughout the route of the underground system to properly locate and identify existing utilities. Prior to the proposal, Contractor should site survey the project site to be familiar with the project and the overall objective of this project, which is to repair the damage cable. Interested offerors are required to submit their written interest in response to this procurement to elsa.gonzalez@faa.gov by 5:00 PM local time on February 15, 2019 Response replies must include the following information: 1.
