- This is a Sources Sought announcement for an upcoming Invitation for Bid requirement. All eligible and qualified contractors may submit capability statements and past resumes for similar work for consideration. The capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the quantity and availability of contractors who have the required experience, technical level of expertise, administrative and management capability to manage the services described below. A solicitation will be issued in the next 60-90 days. The Bureau of Reclamation plans on issuing a contract for the earthwork, furnishing and installing wood revetment, placing geocell surfacing on the access pad and seeding in the Timber Cove, 5 miles upstream of Cle Elum Reservoir, Cle Elum Washington in Kittitas County. This project will improve provide bank stabilization treatment along the toe of the Timber Cove area. An access road will be placed up to finished grade elevation of 2238 ¿. The top layer of the access road will be reinforced using geocells. The geocell layer will also be placed over the side slope of the access road. The wood revetment will be placed on top of the access road, while leaving 12 feet of the access pad on the reservoir side unfilled to allow future use of the access road width for equipment use by maintenance staff. To be considered capable and qualified to perform these services, a contractor must show a performance history that demonstrates an established service provider network, qualified personnel, supervision and equipment and any other items required to accomplish the required services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 237990 ¿ Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 237990 is $36.5 million. If an offeror feels that there is a more suitable NAICS Code classification for this item, please indicate when submitting your capability package. Interested contractor's may submit capability packages that include the following information: (1) Firm's name, address, telephone and fax numbers, business size and type: Women-Owned Small Business, (8)(a), HUB Zone, Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number; (2) Demonstration of the firm's previous experience (as a prime contractor or a subcontractor) in the construction of detailed work in second paragraph. Contractors should submit a list of past projects that were similar in scope and complexity to the requirement referenced in this announcement. Offeror shall provide the project title, location, and detailed descriptions of the effort and how it was similar, the project's dollar value, contract award number, completion dates, and the customer's name and telephone number. (3) Companies DUNS Number and (4) Capability statements are to be submitted not later than 3:00 P.M. Local Time on February 21, 2019.
