- ***THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY**** Naval Facilities Engineering Command Far East (NAVFAC FE) FEAD Camp Butler is conducting a Sources Sought Notice. The intent of this notice is to identify potential contractors that are capable of performing the following work: Purpose and Objectives: To provide Refuse Collection and Disposal Services-Camp Foster, Camp Kinser, Camp Hansen, Camp Schwab, MCAS Futenma, Camp Courtney, NTA, CTA, Plaza, McTureous and Camp Lester, Okinawa Japan. Project requirements: Collection of solid waste to include non-residential, general waste, recyclable waste, glass recycling, bulky waste, and disposal of all wastes. Contractor to provide containers for solid waste, refuse (food waste), and glass recycling. Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price/ IDIQ Services contract Anticipated Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is a base period up to 12 months beginning on 01 October 2019 with a total of four (4) option years (12 months each). Other important considerations: Okinawa is subject to multiple typhoons throughout the year. The information will be used within the NAVFAC Far East Acquisition Division and will not be disclosed outside the agency. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Far East (NAVFAC FE) FEAD Camp Butler is seeking qualified contractors and subcontractors that are licensed to conduct business in Japan for Facilities Support Contracts, specifically Integrated Solid Waste Management Services. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government to issue a Solicitation or award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses. Entities responding to this Sources Sought Notice should submit the minimum information necessary for the Government to make a determination that adequate business entities exist that are capable of satisfying the Government s requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111 Solid Waste Collection The anticipated contract duration is one base period and four (4) one-year option periods, for an overall possible five (5) - year period of performance. Contract type anticipated is an IDIQ contract with RECURRING and NON-RECURRING service contract. It is requested that interested firms capable of providing the requested services submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages, including attachments if any) demonstrating your ability to perform the requested services. The documentation should address the following: A)COMPANY PROFILE to include: (1) Company name and address; (2) Company point of contact (including title, telephone and fax numbers and email address); and (3) If your company is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website, please indicate your DUNS Number and CAGE code. B)RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Indicate your experience in providing services for the requirement stated above. C)SUBCONTRACTORS: If known, provide subcontractor partnerships (Optional). D)LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Indicate any applicable local/and or industry certification your company or employee possess relevant to this procurement. E)MISC INFO: Provide anything pertinent to this industry and/or type of work, in general, that the Government should consider. Interested firms may submit information using the form provided under separate file titled Sources Sought Contractor Information Form (attachment 1) to demonstrate capabilities, capacity and experience. Note: Prior to contract award, all prospective offerors interested in obtaining a contract award with the Government must be registered in the Federal Governments System for Award Management (SAM) database.
