Description

This is a notice of the intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing Solicitation to acquire AN/ALQ-184 Electronic Attack Pod's, NSN: 4320-01-569-2102, P/N: G254008-1V4. The proposed contract action is for spare procurement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract containing only, Five one year ordering periods with only one source under "Other than Full and Open Competition by Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1; only one responsible source; Pacific Design Technologies (Cage Code:1P7T0). However, interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposal(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED 15 DAYS OR THEREAFTER FROM THIS NOTICE. However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 30 days after issuance of solicitation, or 45 days after the publication date of the synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offeror (s) may contact Ombudsman Timothy R Inman at 478-222-4097.
