Description
Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Aviation Warner Robins division will acquire a redesigned Receiver, Countermeasure R-2251-ALQ-161A-Band 4-8 Receiver Assembly using other than full and open competition procedures. Solicitation SPRWA1-19-R-0038 contemplates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) four-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to procure the production of redesigned AN/ALQ-161 Line-Replaceable Units (LRU). the Legacy NSN is 5865-01-256-2544 with the redesigned NSN to be determined. Ordering period One has estimated quantities of 1-10 and Ordering periods Two through Four have estimated quantities of 1-5 each. The period of performance to include all deliveries is anticipated to be FY19-FY25. The proposed acquisition will be contracted sole source to EDO. LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Harris Corporation), CAGE 82340, 1500 New Horizons Blvd, Amityville, NY 11701 pursuant to 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is anticipating using the policies contained in Part 15, Contract by Negotiations, in its solicitation for the described supplies.
