Description
The proposed procurement is for one (1) NSN [2940-01-314-1345 (Filter Element, Fluid; CAGE 72582, P/N 23530408; CAGE 3NNX8, P/N 10012535; CAGE K4664, P/N BW724; CAGE 75Q65, P/N 6HD196)] and will be a FAR 15 Unrestricted procurement for a code and part-numbered item. Unit of issue is EACH. Other Than Full and Open Competition applies. All responsible sources may submit an offer / quote, which shall be considered. Anticipated contract type is an Indefinite Delivery Contract. This proposed procurement is for a five-year base period with no options. Items are for stock and will be shipped to DLA stocking locations within the established minimum and maximum quantity limits, on an as-needed basis. The total shall not exceed five (5) years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will open on or about February 15, 2019. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. The solicitation will not be available until the issue date at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
