Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The Government intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order with Cellular Tracking Technologies LLC, 1021 Route 47 S Rio Grande, NJ 08242-1509, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The government will acquire the services using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 517919 with a size standard of $32,500,000.00. The purpose of this requirement is to procure three (3) GPS bird tracking devices compatible with existing equipment and data plans. This notice is not a formal solicitation. This is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of quotation or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase order will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information related to the potential availability of other sources that can fulfill this requirement must be received by 2d Lt Ryan E. Belfield, Contracting Officer via electronic email at ryan.e.belfield.mil@mail.mil.
