Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM - MAS) is announcing its intention to to issue a request for proposal (RFP) to provide for requirements related to the fabrication, testing, evaluation, and producibility assessments for various 40mm Grenade Medium Caliber programs. The objectives of this program are to assess enhanced lethality and accuracy technologies for legacy and future 40mm grenade ammunition, improved production and manufacturing capabilities, and better munitions life cycle management. This is a competitive acquisition for non - commercial services that will be a 100% Small Business Set - Aside (SBSA). The Government intends to award multiple five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s). This is a pre - solicitation notice and does not constitute a request for competitive proposals at this time. The Government anticipates releasing the RFP on or about March 11, 2019.
