- AMENDMENT NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is HOODW1JYAE0007 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332999 with a small business size standard of 750.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2019-02-22 13:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Fort Hood, TX 76544 The MICC End User requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: -47F left hand side fall protection platform. The platform shall comply as a minimum with the following requirements: Fuel tanks freely accessible without stepping over bars or tubing when platform is installed to helicopter. Adjusted to accommodate CH-47F with installed HF antenna rack. Adjustable rail system with drop down possibility to accommodate range of the rotor system in order to be able to rotate the rotor blades without moving the platform. Stair unit shall be on tracks and able to be adjusted within the 32 height range of the platform. Folding engine access deck with rail system near stair unit. Failsafe to deck hinge system. OSHA required kick plates to surround the deck system for added fall protection, classified as work platform. Air and Electric Hook ups on both ends of the working platform. At least three tool trays. Tie downs on 4 locations. Forward guard rail of main deck will have a slide-out rail to guard the front of rotor head cowl. Handrail fall protection system.
