- SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) Contract Title: 6-Month Radio Show and Radio Commercials for Cincinnati VAMC Public Affairs Office. Background: A 6-month weekly two-hour radio program that offers the Cincinnati VA Medical Center the opportunity to frequently provide awareness and education to the fifteen-county catchment area of the Veteran population that the Cincinnati VA Medical Center services. The two-hour weekly radio program content is solely organized and controlled by the Cincinnati VA Medical Center Office of Public Affairs which will generally focus on VA Healthcare benefits, how and ways Veterans can enroll, and the types of services and locations Veterans can access from the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. The use of the radio program is part of the overall outreach plan of the Medical Center strategic initiative for growth of new unique Veterans which results in financial reimbursement to the Medical Center operational budget. The weekly air time includes uninterrupted air time with the use of a professional radio studio and qualified radio engineer/producer for the best quality of sound and delivery of final weekly radio show products. Scope: Provide local communication, via radio air ways to the locations that the Cincinnati VAMC supports to provide information on enrollment, benefits and services offered at the Cincinnati VAMC and other facilities within the area for veterans. Specific Tasks: ST#1: Provide a of two-hour weekly radio program (for 6-months) with option periods for purchase that includes the use of the studios and engineer to produce weekly two-hour radio programs per the direction of the Office of Public Affairs at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Must target service area and should be on 55KRC or similar station. ST#2: Provide (200) 30-second radio commercials spots and (3) live on air radio interviews with at least (1) prominent drive time radio personality during the 6-month performance period. Must target service area and should be on 55KRC/700WLW or similar station. Risk Control: The Office of Public Affairs at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center will ensure information shared and the subject matter experts providing viewpoints is accurate and not falsely represented. Additionally, no personal views about any aspects of the federal government will be a topic of discussion.
