- Special Notification for Presolicitation Site Visit. Hoover Dam Tour Ticket, Parking, Photography, and Merchandise Sale. Presolicitation site visit will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 9:00 A.M., PST. Principal features of the work: 1. Ticketing - Provide for the seamless management of tour ticket sales for a high volume, high profile, public tourist destination (average 700,000 tickets sold per year). Must include full service Point of Sale ability for ticket purchases (including online, in-person, off-site, app-based and advance sales), revenue, tour types, daily electronic reporting / audit functions, cash and other payment management, visitor experience enhancements, such as tour wait times, and other potential duties through the use of expertise and technology. 2. Parking - Provide for the seamless management of parking facilities for a high volume, public tourist destination with multiple parking locations (3 or more with an average 400,000 tickets sold per year). Must include full service POS ability for multiple inputs and revenue types, daily electronic reporting and other audit functions, cash and other payment management, visitor experience enhancement (including but not limited to real-time space availability info), and other potential duties through the use of expertise and technology. 3. Photography Sales - Provide all personnel, equipment, materials, financial controls, and management to operate an on-site photography sales operation. Must take professional digital photographs of visitors, process photographs, and present to customers. Must include full service POS ability for multiple inputs and revenue types, daily electronic reporting and other audit functions, cash and other payment management, and visitor experience enhancement. 4. Memorabilia and Merchandise Sales - Provide all personnel, equipment, materials, financial controls, and management to operate an on-site Merchandise sales operation. Must include full service POS ability for multiple inputs and revenue types, purchases across multiple platforms (including online, in-person, app-based and advance sales), daily electronic reporting and other audit functions, cash and other payment management, visitor experience enhancement, and other potential duties through the use of expertise and technology. Ability to manage memorabilia and merchandise re-stock purchasing, inventory management, and property protection/control. All attendees should meet at the Spillway House at Hoover Dam. State Route 172 (Hoover Dam Access Road), Boulder City, NV 89005. Please see attached map. Attendees should park in the Visitor Center Parking Garage. The parking fee is currently $10.00. Attendance at the presolicitation site visit is not mandatory but is recommended. Interested vendors must contact at jmlee@usbr.gov or pharris@usbr.gov to confirm their attendance to the presolicitation site visit by 5:00 P.M. PST, Tuesday, February 26, 2019.
