- The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Dallas, TX 75247, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Johnson Controls Security Solutions LLC, Alexandria, VA for upgrading existing software licenses. This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. Johnson Controls Security Solutions LLC. is the only known source, due to being the sole owner of the proprietary firmware which is currently in use by ICE, in being capable of meeting the Government's requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 13.
