Description

Special Notice: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC) awarded a Purchase Order for the repair services for the following equipment: 40 each OPTICAL TRANSMITTER BELFORT PN: 32315 AAI PN: 62826-90111-3, ASN: S100-2MT5A2A3 and 40 each OPTICAL DETECTOR, AAI PN: 62826-90111-1, BELFORT PN: 32310, ASN: S100-2MT5A2A4 to BELFORT INSTRUMENT COMPANY. Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one source, the original equipment manufacturer, BELFORT INSTRUMENT COMPANY. There is only one authorized source for repairs for these devices, the original equipment manufacturer, BELFORT INSTRUMENT COMPANY. The Optical Transmitter and Detector were manufactured by BELFORT INSTRUMENT COMPANY as a commercially available item and the U.S. Government does not possess the data rights to this item. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-FEB-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
