Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Bio-Nuclear of Puerto Rico, Inc.for a maintenance agreement for Dynex DSX, 1-DXC-2984. Bio-Nuclear is the local distributor for Dynex instruments in Puerto Rico and the Bionuclear staff has been trained by Dynex to provide maintenance and repair services to the DSX and the Agility Instruments. As a local company, Bionuclear is the only vendor capable of answering to service call within 24 hours in Puerto Rico.. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-FEB-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
