Description

Notice of Intent for Sole Source Pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.302-1, the Naval Hospital Bremerton Contracting Office, Bremerton, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Abbott Medical Optics (AMO) Sales and Service, Inc. in the total amount of $88,215.00 for 18 ea of the 21 TX iDesign Pak cards (item number 0040-1000-94) with an option for another 18 items ($88,215.00) for delivery in June 2019. These items are the only items that are compatible with the iDesign Advanced WaveScan Studio System that is located in Naval Hospital Bremerton's Opthalmology clinic. The system is manufactured and distributed by AMO. This notice is not a requiest for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using SAP. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-FEB-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
