Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Nuance Communications, Inc., located 1 Wayside Road, Burlington, MA, 01803.4609. For OminPage Capture SDK License and Server License software under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) "Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available..." Nuance Communication, Inc., proprietary OmniPage Capture SDK and Server License are only available from Nuance Communications, Inc. Only Nuance Communications, Inc., has access to the source code necessary to provide the required software support licenses for the period of 12 months. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-FEB-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
