Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Northeast Region 5, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction of a new shaded pavilion at the Two Mile Beach location of the Cape May National Wildlife Refuge located in Cape May Court House (Cape May Co.), New Jersey. The work under this project consists of supplying all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to construct a new 20' x 20' pre-engineered steel frame supported shade structure with heavy schedule pipe columns and structural steel beams that are galvanized/powder coated/zinc primer and painted steel. All hardware and tensioning cables shall be stainless steel. The structure will include a permanent metal roof wit adequate pitch (4:12) and adequate eave height (7' 6"). The estimated magnitude for this project is between $25,000. and $100,000. This procurement is set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 238120, with a small business size standard of $15 million. In order to be eligible for award, interested firms must be registered at the System for Award Management (SAM online at www.sam.gov). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. A Request for Proposal (RFP) including Technical Specifications, drawings and evaluation criteria will be released through www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net on or about December 21, 2018. The period of performance will be sixty (60)calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The anticipated contract type will be Firm-Fixed Price. Award will be made based upon Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15, and the terms in the solicitation. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections L and M of the solicitation.
