Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE HQ AFOTEC/A7K intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source purchase order on behalf of AFOTEC Det 5 for Security Management and Administrative Services at Edwards AFB, CA to INQU, LLC (Small Business) under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available that will satisfy agency requirements. AFOTEC/Det 5, requires two (2) FTEs to provide Specialized Security Management and Administration Services. Security services include: Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) collateral (information, industrial, and personnel security), Operational Security (OPSEC), Antiterrorism/ Force Protection (AT/FP), and Special Access Programs (SAP). AFOTEC provides security services to approximately 120 personnel at Detachment (Det) 5 at Edwards AFB, California. The contractor shall work in close coordination with Government security professionals, providing review of regulations with recommendations, and administration of specific security requirements associated with SAP, SCI, and collateral areas supporting the AFOTEC mission. This requirement is expected to include travel. The Contractor shall conduct activities at the AFOTEC facilities located at Edwards AFB, CA. This is a notice of intent to issue this solicitation on a sole source basis. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotations (RFQ). Any other firms desiring consideration must fully identify their interest and capability to provide these services no later than March 1st, 2019 to the individual listed below. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00PM Mountain Standard Time, March 1st, 2018.
