Description
NOTE: The purpose of amendment 0002 is to extend the response date to 5 pm (CT), March 5, 2019. NOTE: This amendment is to delete the SOW requirement for an śEquipment / Operator monitoring system ť in the forklift and order pickers. Attached are the government ™s response to vendor ™s questions. The response date has been extended to 5 pm (CT), February 27, 2019. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Logistics Center (FAALC) AML-1000 Distribution Center has a requirement to replace ten (10) Order Pickers, ten (10) Batteries, ten (10) Battery Chargers (or five (5) Battery Chargers which charges two order pickers at the same time) and one (1) 6000 lb. Forklift with Battery and Battery Charger in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. These units will be located at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK 73169. This solicitation is set-aside for all Small Businesses. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this RFQ. Therefore any cost associated with the submission is solely at the interested vendors expense. It is envisioned this will be a 24-month lease with an option to buy, at the Government ™s discretion, anytime during the lease period or for $1.00 at the end of the lease period. Only one firm-fixed-price type contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The Contractor pricing shall include: the cost of the equipment, taxes, a onetime delivery/transportation charges, installation (if any), operator training, one operator ™s manual per order picker / forklift, one total set of service and parts manuals for the order picker / forklift (either CD, email or a website/link to locate manuals), and schematics / drawings (either CD, email or a website/link to locate manuals). A one-year parts and labor warranty is required from date of delivery. Vendors must quote, and be able to provide, all items listed in the attached Scope of Work. Quotes must be received by the FAA, no later than 5:00 p.m. CT, Monday, February 27, 2019. Quotes shall be submitted by email at bill.white@faa.gov. Quotes must be labeled as follows: RFQ 6973GH-19-R-00049 - Order Pickers - Forklift Lease / Purchase. Responses submitted must address all requirement specifications listed in the RFQ attached, otherwise response will be considered non-responsive. Any responses received after 5:00 p.m. CT, Monday, February 27, 2019, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. If all requested information is not furnished, the vendor's response may be determined ineligible. Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov on the date established for receipt of offers February 25, 2019. Reference AMS Clause 3.3.1-33, paragraph (d), śif the offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer may proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror. ť Questions concerning this RFQ must be submitted by 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
