Description
Marble Bluff Fish Lock Hoist Upgrade The Mid Pacific Region of the Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Solicitation for a firm fixed-price contract for the Marble Bluff Dam Fish Hoist Upgrade at Marble Bluff Dam. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business and will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) using FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding procedures. The work to be performed is described below. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290 and the related small business size standard is $15.0M. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. The estimated cost of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This procurement will require a bid guarantee and 100% performance and payment bonds. Work is located at Marble Bluff Dam and Fish Passage Facility is located on the tail-end of the Truckee River, 3-miles upstream of Pyramid Lake and 2-miles downstream of Nixon, Nevada on the Pyramid Paiute Indian Reservation. PRINCIPAL COMPONENTS OF WORK: 1. Remove and dispose of the existing 10-Ton Fish Lock Hoist and trolley, cable reels, wiring and controls. 2. Furnish and install a new 15-Ton Fish Lock Hoist with trolley. 3. Furnish and install a new hardwire cable festoon system. 4. Furnish and install power and control wiring. 5. Perform post installation inspection and testing in accordance with applicable standards. 6. Provide certification of hoist performance. Solicitation 140R2019B0006 will be posted electronically via www.fedbizopps.gov on or about March 19, 2019. The date for receipt of proposals will be approximately April 18, 2019. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.
