Description

Our focused Human Performance Optimization (HPO) effort is a re-investment into uniquely skilled Airmen as well as a safeguard for their operational readiness to maximize our Nation's lethality potential when called upon. Therefore, the 56 FW HPO effort was established at Luke Air Force Base and has a mission "to build and implement a holistic approach to address the unique physiological and psychological stressors pressed upon on our high performance / high demand Airmen in an effort to reduce injuries, increase longevity, and maximize human performance potential. The HPO effort will identify and implement innovative and value added solutions across the spectrum of human performance aimed at improving the short and long-term performance and well-being of our warfighters and their families, increasing readiness and retention, and optimizing warfighter operational lethality and longevity.
