Description
General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting proposals for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: The Work includes the removal of four 3 Ton split HVAC systems consisting of Natural Gas Furnaces, Cased Evaporator Coils and Condensing Units. Install eight individual Two Ton 18 SEER Heat Pump Systems. One in each of the Attics, and One in each of the Crawl Spaces of each of the Four Units. They will consist of an Air Handler, Evaporator Coil and 10 KW heat strips and Heat Pump Condensing Unit. Built in the early 1900 ¿s. Each building unit is approximately 2,350 square feet. There are two duplex buildings. Each building has a concrete foundation containing two levels of living and/ or office space, a half basement, half crawl space and an attic space. Interior walls and ceilings are plaster on wood lath. The site location is Hot Springs National Park, 527 Reserve Street, Hot Springs, AR. Solicitation Number: 140P6219Q0009. The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Type of Acquisition: A negotiated (with the possibility to award without discussions), firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical approach, past performance, and price to determine the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer to the government. The NAICS code for this project is 238220 and the small business size standard is $15.0 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is advertised as a 100% Small Business Set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on www.fbo.com or https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm on or about 14 March 2019.
