- The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps, has a requirement for the acquisition, delivery and installation of classroom desks, partitions and chairs for the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Program. The work consists of the services required to procure, deliver, and install classroom desks, partitions, and chairs for TABE classrooms at separate Job Corps Centers located throughout the Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia and San Francisco Regions in support of the Department of Labor Job Corps Program. Compliance with furniture specification sheets, specified fabric and materials, and color recommendations are also requirements of the services to be performed. This service will be accomplished under an accelerated schedule of delivery, since furniture testing will begin by June 30, 2019. Firms interested in this requirement are requested to submit a statement of interest. Responses are due on Monday, March 11, 2019, by 2:00PM EST, and must be submitted via e-mail to: garnett.eileen@dol.gov (Eileen Garnett, Contract Specialist). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 10.001(a) (3) (i), this notice is issued for the purpose of market research. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are potential SMALL BUSINESSES with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. This Notice is not to be misconstrued as an Invitation for Bid or a Request for Proposal. The information received will be used to determine whether to issue the proposed solicitation as a competitive set-aside or full and open competition (unrestricted). The extent of the work will be described in the statement of work, which will follow at a later date. Firms listed under the GSA Schedule should include this information in their response to this Notice.
