Description
Simplified Acquisition of Basic Engineering Requirements (SABER) The National Park Service, Intermountain Region (NPS-IMR), Arizona Major Acquisition Buying Office (Arizona MABO), is soliciting a SABER an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle that may be used to accomplish a broad range of minor construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair projects. The NPS-IMR intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a SABER contract for minor construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair projects at current and future NPS Parks, Park Units and locations throughout the state of Arizona, to include Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Typical work under the SABER contract will include, but will not be limited to incidental design services, construction of facilities, interior and exterior facility renovations, heating and air-conditioning, HVAC controls, plumbing, fire suppression, interior and exterior electrical and lighting, fire and intrusion alarms, communications, limited interior & exterior utilities, site-work, landscaping, fencing, masonry, roofing, concrete, asphalt paving, storm drainage, limited environmental remediation, surveys, studies, and other related work. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, plans, tools, transportation, equipment, services and incidentals necessary to complete each task order from conception through completion. The contractor shall be capable of performing multiple simultaneous projects. All work will be accomplished in accordance with individual task order requirements, master specifications, contractor developed construction drawings, and a detailed estimate developed using a contract specific cost estimating software and unit price databases. The total period of performance for this SABER contract, to include all options, shall not exceed five (5) calendar years. Task orders will typically range in value from $10,000 to $350,000, each with a minimum task order value of $2,000, and a maximum task order value of $1,000,000. The total of individual task orders placed against the SABER contract shall not exceed $25,000,000. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.
