- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR INFORMATION ONLY: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.2 and 36.2 Project: Remove and Replace Carpet Solicitation Number: N40085-19-T-6526 The PWD PA, Philadelphia, PA will solicit for the removal and replacement of carpet in building 407 North, Mechanicsburg, PA. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, labor, equipment and supervision to complete the job. The scope of work is remove and replace approximately 3400 square feet of carpet tiles and 908 feet of vinyl cove base from six locations within building 407 North (Bays C1, A5-K5, H5-H8, H1 and J1). The existing carpet tile shall be replaced with 24 x 24 , Grade A carpet tile. Carpet tile color samples shall be presented for approval. The Contractor shall take care in removing carpet tiles and cove base materials. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damage to painted surfaces and walls. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The proposed contract listed here is 100% Small Business Set-aside. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. Dollar magnitude for this contract is between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The contract Period of Performance is anticipated to consist of an estimated 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $36.5M. Procurement Method: Selection Process: This procurement will utilize Lowest Price procedures. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. There will be a pre-proposal site visit established in the solicitation. The date, time and point of contact for the site visit will be found in the solicitation. Attendance is highly encouraged. Respondents must contact the site visit point of contact 7 working days in advance to gain access to the base the date of the site visit. There are timely actions required by Respondents wishing to attend the site visit. Multiple site visits will not be facilitated.
