Description
This is a one-time spares buy for the Intercommunication Control Unit in support of the C-130H Aircraft which use the AIC-25 ICU. The proposed acquisition will be contracted sole source to Andrea Systems, LLC, CAGE 82340, Farmingdale, NY pursuant to 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). NSN: 5831-00-539-1714; P/N: A81-87; NOUN: Intercommunication Control Unit. ITEM FUNCTION: Provides high intercommunication and radio monitoring for aircraft and ground communications. ITEM MATERIAL: Aluminum. ITEM DESCRIPTION: LENGTH: 6.7810 inches; WIDTH: 5.7500 inches; HEIGHT: 3.7500 inches; WEIGHT: 8.2750 lbs. A written RFP will be issued. The anticipated award date is: 30 May 2019. FOB ORIGIN IUID Requirement is applicable to this acquisition in accordance with the IUID Checklist ESTIMATED AWARD DATE: 30 May 2019 QTY: 38 Each DELIVERY: 7 Months ARO DESTINATION: DODAAC: SW3119 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forth-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
