- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs Salem in Salem, VA is seeking potential sources who will be interested in providing Extracorporeal Shock Wave equipment and related technical support laser technicians services also known as Mobile Lithotripsy Services. The NAICS code is 621512. All lithotripsy technologists shall be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and shall have an unrestricted license in a US state, territory or Commonwealth of the US or District of Columbia. Personnel shall work with the attending Urologist and other physicians in the operating room at Salem VAMC and shall operate the laser device and any related imaging equipment during the procedure. Contractor shall provide a mobile digital unit that can easily be moved from place to place in the operating rooms at the Salem VA Medical Center. The contractor shall provide Mobile Lithotripsy Services, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) equipment and related technical support at the Salem VA Medical Center, Salem, Virginia, two scheduled Friday s per month unless there is an occasion that requires a different day for an estimated 30 patients per year. Salem VAMC estimates that there will be one (1) to three (3) patients per visit. NOTE: Businesses must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM).
