The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of businesses including (but not limited to) 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, and Veteran-Owned Small Business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 333318. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking both manufacturers and/or distributors of the exact match or functionally equivalent equipment/ services to the following listed above. DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS CENTRAL TEXAS VETERANS HEALTHCARE SYSTEM NUTRITION AND FOOD SERVICES (NFS) STATEMENT OF WORK DISH MACHINE INSTALLATION: Temple Bldg. 163 Project Title: Building 163 Dish Machine and Scrapping Station Replacement and Installation for Nutrition and Food Services. Project Location: Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System Nutrition and Food Services (120) 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive Temple, Texas 76502 Points of Contact: Rita Kleypas 254-743-0360, Brittany Zaring: 254-743-0634 Scope: It is Contractor s responsibility to conduct a site visit prior to bid to verify all existing conditions, devices, equipment, dimensions, location, power cable, steam, hot water, cold water, drain route, measurements and areas provided in scope of work. Provide all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to remove and demolish the current Dish Machine and Scrapping Station and install the new Dish Machine and Scrapping Station. Contractor shall follow VA Infection Control Guidelines. Performance Period: Contractor will need two site trips, the first for demolition and the second for installation. The equipment removal and demolition to be completed by contractor in two calendar days. VA will repair the floor and wall after the existing dish machine and scrapping station is removed by contractor. VA will inform contractor when work completed. The installation of new equipment by contractor will be completed within eight calendar days of start date. All materials must be on site before starting the job. Demolition and install dates must be scheduled with NFS and at the convenience of the government.
