- Description
- A Special Response Team (SRT) provides security escort for our deliveries to the destruction site every time destruction is required, therefore the distance to/from the site is important. For safety/security of our forces, travel should be within 30 miles radius from Zip Code 11430 and destruction must take place within the same business day, including destruction time and travel to and from the Facility. Facility must be pre-approved by Laboratories and Scientific Services (LSS), Internal Affairs (IA), and the Security Management Division for compliance with DHS/CBP policies. Facilities must have a permit from EPA to destroy Schedule 1-5 narcotics and FDA prohibited substances. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
