Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a competitive 100% small business set-aside commercial firm-fixed price definite-delivery definite-quantity type contract for Airport Baggage and Passenger Screening for Navy Operated Air Mobility Command (AMC) Air Terminal Norfolk, Virginia. The services will be acquired utilizing procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 19.5 “ Set Asides for Small Business. Solicitation N0018919Q0109 will include a period of performance that will be a 12-month base period beginning 1 April 2019 and conclude on 31 March 2020, plus four 12-month option periods and FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, to continue services up to 6 months through 30 September 2024. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 488190 and the size standard is $32.5 million. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 7 March 2019 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, www.fbo.gov. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web sites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-999-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
