- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to prep and paint the exterior of the Main House, Kitchen Building, and Breezeway at the Kingsley Plantation located within the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve in Jacksonville, FL, Duval County on or about March 22, 2019. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5419R0006. This project includes the preparation and paint application for approximately 10,000 sq ft for wood surfaces only. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 238320. The small business standard is $15M. The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this action on April 09, 2019 at 10:00am (ET) in Jacksonville, Florida. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on April 12, 2019 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the end of April 2019. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Duval County, FL will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about March 22, 2019. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due no earlier than 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. After issuance of solicitation, send any inquires via email to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov by 10:00am (ET) on April 12, 2019. NO oral questions will be accepted. NOTE: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released. No bidder list is maintained by the Contracting Officer, however, you can add your name to the "Interested vendors" in the solicitation and the system will notify you of any update.
