- NSN 1H-5840-014379572-A5, TDP VER 009, REF NR 7538379, QTY 18 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. The Government intends to request offers for a competitive, firm-fixed price contract for the procurement of 3 each COVER, SHIPS GONG/ELEC.This item will be solicited full and open after exclusion of sources (100% small business set aside). NAICS 334511 applicable with Small Business Size Standard 750. The FOB point is SOURCE. For a copy of Request for Quote (RFQ) SPRMM1-19-Q-HX73, please contact KAREN MAHONE at karen.mahone@dla.mil. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing/repair knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition/repair of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing/repair knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. The proposed acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns (see FAR clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside). However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
