- Page 1 of 1 Sources Sought Notice- National Contracts Standardization Program The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Offers are not being solicited at this time. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request for information. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center is conducting market research to assess industry capabilities for distribution of the Pharmaceutical Drug Mesalamine, under NAICS Code 325412, to VA and other Government Agencies (OGAs). The VA is seeking responses to this request for information from interested, capable firms that can meet all of the requirements set forth below. Capabilities should include but are not limited to: Is your firm currently selling all the package strengths and package sizes commercially as indicated in the table below? If not currently selling the requested strengths and package sizes, how long will it take for your company to provide the required line items as listed in the table below? Is your firm currently selling all unit of use package sizes with a child proof closure (safety cap) and a bottle with a minimum required size of 100cc volume. The safety cap must not exceed the diameter of the bottle. The bottle must have a cylindrical body and minimum of 5.75 circumference. The bottle must fit a label with dimensions of 5.25 x 2. The 0.5 additional space is required to keep the bar code exposed and/or allow for the display of the expiration date and lot number. Is your firm able to provide the estimated annual quantities? Would your firm be able to fill an initial order up to 30% of the estimated annual quantities? Is your firm able to deliver the product to the VA s Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor no later than 45 days after award? If not the manufacturer of the product, is your firm able to provide a Letter of Commitment from the manufacturer?
