- Page 3 of 3 The Department of Veterans Affairs North Texas Veterans Health Care System in Dallas, TX is posting this combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Power Soak Model through the Contracting Officer in San Antonio, Texas. The government intends to make a contract award to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable vendor that can provide the required items in accordance to the attached documents, as a result of this solicitation for quotes.. This action is a total small business set-aside for service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) only. The NAICS is 325998. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate evaluations and award decisions. However, similar items must meet or exceed selected technical capabilities of the listed equipment. *** a. Common Nomenclature (commercial description): Power Soak Model b. Kind of material (i.e., type, grade, alternatives, etc.): Stainless Steel c. Electrical Data (i.e., 110 v, 60 Hz, 3 Ph, etc.): ps-200 208v/3ph control with automatic wash tank heat d. Dimensions, size, capacity: Unit O.D. 183 Right to left x37 front to back 1 right end splash, 18 disposer basin, 12 ´soiled drainboard, 60 wash tank x21 deep with sheet pan racks 24 rinse sink x 14 43 clean drainboard, 1 right end splash e. Principles of operation: Power Soak Sink for Bonham Kitchen needs for pots and pans area f. Restrictive environmental conditions: Bonham Kitchen Area Power Soak needs replacing due to beyond economical repair by Engineering. Sink is leaking and causing slip hazards resolving in a safety violation g. Intended use: Power Soak for pots and pans at Bonham VA in Bonham Kitchen h. Equipment with which the item is used with (N/A if not applicable): Pots and Pans i. End item application: Needed for Bonham Kitchen Pot and Pan Power Soak Sink - everyday use j. Original equipment manufacturer part number: Power Soak Model Power Soak k. Other pertinent information that describes the item, material or service required: Needed in Bonham VA Kitchen for cleanliness and sanitizing of pots and pans. Current Power Soak leaks and causing water on the floor that is a safety concern. It is beyond economical repair by local Engineering. Scope of Work Building 2, Kitchen 3-compartment power soak Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment and material to remove existing 3-compartment power soak sink located in building 2, room 110. Contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of the existing 3-compartment sink, excluding the Hobart garbage disposal making sure not to damage the flooring or wall in the process. When demo is completed VA staff will inspect prior to new sink installation. Contractor shall install new 3-compartment power soak that is compatible with the current Hobart group 6 Electrical Control Group with 60 Hz 200-230/460volts (model number FD4/500) garbage disposal. The new 3-compartment sink shall have an integrated chemical dispensing system, a 14 swivel spout, and a removable chemical undershelf. The contractor is responsible for all safety barriers and all infectious control procedures. Remove complete existing 3-compartment sink, leaving in place the existing garbage disposal. Install new 3-compartment sink with the above requirements. Provide and install all necessary associated new fittings and bore holes and seal as required Contractor shall provide the weights all metal and construction debris to the COR Contractor shall provide a 1-year warranty on parts and labor. All work to be accomplished in accordance with VA and Industry Standards and in accordance with Manufactures Recommendations. Also; in accordance with the International Building Code (IBU); NFPA, Electrical Code; Life Safety Codes; HVAC; local and state building codes. This work is located at the VA North Texas Health Care System, Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center, 1201 East 9th Street, Bonham, Texas 75418.
