- The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties the DLA Disposition Acquisitions Directorate anticipates issuing a solicitation for Hazardous Waste Removal and Disposal for Vandenberg Air Force Base. Servicing Department of Defense (DOD) Installations at Vandenberg Air Force Base and surrounding areas. This acquisition is being solicited as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned " SDVOSB" set aside solicitation. The anticipated performance start date for this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is 21 May 2019 and is for a 30-month base period and one 30-month option period, for a possible 5-year contract. A solicitation will be available on FBO.gov on or about 22 March 2019. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued under the solicitation. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments. Amendments may be issued up until the solicitation due date. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your proposal ineligible for award. No hardcopies of this solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the DLA Disposition Services Acquisitions Directorate. The solicitation will be posted in its entirety at this website. To receive an award resulting from this solicitation, the prospective awardee shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
