- The proposed acquisition will result in a Simplified Acquisition and covers a requirement for the item: Cape, Aircrewman, (NSN: 8415-01-040-9018; Part Number 3211, Cage Code 6A851; Winston Salem for the Blind). The award will be issued as a simplified acquisition and the total dollar value will not exceed $250,000. Inspection and acceptance at destination; FOB Destination. Product lead time 120 days. All materials used in the fabrication are to be furnished by the successful offeror. It is anticipated this solicitation will be posted to the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) on or after March 2019. All offerors MUST be registered in The System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit offers which, if timely received, shall be considered.
