Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business, or HUB Zone interests. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition for Shredding & Recycling Services, for Durham, NC. The VAMC, located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC, has a requirement for a contractor to provide both Shredding & Recycling Services, to Include Cardboard Buyback. Contractor must provide a full comprehensive recycling program for recyclable material collection and removal service throughout the seven (7) Medical Center s administrative, patient care, and outlying areas such as Outpatient Clinics, Community Based Outpatient Clinics and the Dialysis Clinic. All seven sites are located in Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina. The tentative date for issuing solicitation is on or about March 15, 2019. This is an Open Market, Unrestricted, Firm Fixed Price requirement. The NAICS 562111 Solid Waste Collection, size standard of $38.5 Million. If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov). If you are claiming Veteran status, you must be verified in VIP (www.VIP.VETBIZ.gov) as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prior to submitting a Quote. Your response is required by: Thursday, March 14, 2019 by 10:00 AM EST. Capability Statement s must be submitted via email to lori.miller@va.gov.
