- Description
- NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for web-based subscription access to technical data in support of U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility (SRF) Yokosuka, Japan and its detachments. This acquisition will be negotiated on a sole source basis with IHS Global Inc. per FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to the offer due date, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The period of performance shall be from 23 March 2019 ~ 22 March 2020. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the GPE on or about 11March 2019 with proposals due by 15 March 2020. This is a solicitation utilizing FAR 12 and FAR 13.5. The Government will award a Firm Fixed Price Contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government and the Lowest Price that meets the specifications of the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FLC Puget Sound. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Emailed completed solicitations are acceptable.
